I had the opportunity to have three exhibits at the local library. The process is actually more competitive than one might think. Athens is a artsy community and everyone is trying to get their name out to the public. I had no idea when I was initially asked to share my work how coveted the spaces are by artists. Todd Bastin, Athens Art in the Library Coordinator is amazing at scheduling and organizing the arts at the library!
The first exhibit was : In My Backyard was a collection of photos of woodpeckers that visited my backyard.
The second exhibit was : WaterBirds was a collection of photos taken at wetlands in Athens, Marietta and Logan, Ohio.
The third exhibit was: The Many faces of the Red Fox was a collection of photos of a red fox that visited my backyard for several months. He began to recognize me and would stick around when I was outside.
