My first juried acceptance was at Las Laguna Gallery, Laguna Beach CA (http://www.laslagunagallery.com/2014) in the Birds, Bees, and Everything in Between Exhibit. My photo of a cardinal was titled, Showing Red. It was framed by Lamborn's Studio and Custom Framing in Athens (https://www.facebook.com/lamborns.studio/. The photo was framed and shipped to California. It was at the point I realized how much effort and expense there was in showing one's work at a gallery.

I would have never considered exhibiting my work if Matt Ziff, an architect and photographer as well as a friend and former colleague, had not convinced me to submit to call for entries. Thank you Matt!!
